Miami International Airport, North Terminal Development

Working with the Managing General Contractor, K2 has been providing master baseline scheduling services, integration of multiple owner schedules, coordination with airline and airport tenants, and development of integrated trade contractor schedulers. K2 integrates commissioning and turnover schedules for multiple interfaces and establishes scheduling specifications and protocols for the 5-year construction plan in conformance with government requirements.

K2 is preparing the master schedule that will determine the comprehensive phasing of the $1 Billion reconstruction and expansion at Miami International Airport. This work involves complex phasing and sequencing, and resolving conflicting scheduling needs of various stakeholders including the City of Miami, the Airports Authority, the Airlines, the Tenants, and the traveling public. To aid decision makers, K2 displays project data and analysis in a context which aids solving complex project control issues. K2's capability to design and prepare full color, wall-chart-size reports (prepared in Corel, Viso or other graphic programs) provides a unique capability infrequently found in project control personnel.
